I started my photographic path at the age of 11 with the gift of an Ilford Pixie 127 roll film camera. At that time and for many years after my fascination was with the camera and recording images of aircraft. As time progressed my interest changed to that of creating interesting images with no intention of showing them to anyone, except of course for the usual family portraits.

Lockdown gave me the opportunity to join an internet photography group; Two Photographers. The encouragement offered by Tim Clinch and Joanna Maclennan has opened my mind to a broader world of images and is helping to clarify my photographic eye.
